How much "travel" will a proper coilover have while cornering and hitting small bumps or dips on the road? I know it's an odd question but I feel that a proper coilover won't/shouldn't have hella travel. I ask this because the KSports on my 91 GT are very stiff when I try to "push" down on the car by hand but when I'm driving, corners and dips cause lots of travel and tire rub, I'd say alomost 2" of travel occurs sometimes. What do you think about that?

I'm researching coilovers for my 6th gen but I need to acquire some more knowledge on suspension characteristics before my purchase.

I also ask because I see a lot of fellas with a stance status but they don't seem to complain about tire rubbing too much, even the guys that poke their wheels or run them at the fender line but their tires don't get all cut up. lol.

I guess I can add to the question and ask about the differences between a cheap coilover and track made coilover. Thanks smile.gif
