i have searched & i know these parts are hard to find but what do you guys think is my best bet for finding an oem downpipe & airbox? i saw a few 3rd gen 3sge downpipes on ebay maybe 2 weeks ago but they arent there anymore & i dont know if they are interchangeable with the 4th gen since the o2 is in a different spot.

Yes.
Edit: Now that I'm not pressed for time, I'll elaborate. The BEAMS has a unique flywheel, not shared with any other engine. At 14-15 lbs, it's lighter than any of the other 3S flywheels and if I'm not mistaken, the 5S flywheel will not fit. In addition to being lighter, the design of the flywheel puts most of the weight closer to the center, helping it act even lighter. Because you will be using the BEAMS flywheel (or lightweight 3S-GTE flywheel,) the 5S pressure plate will not bolt up. I'm using an OEM pressure plate from an ST185, OEM BEAMS clutch disc (same as the '99 Celica GT,) and S54 throw out bearing. Pic of the BEAMS flywheel compared to a pic of Dustin's lightweight 3S-GTE flywheel. Notice the surface area of the BEAMS flywheel is smaller but closer to center.
