hi iv got a question and im hoping someone here will be able to help me out. a friend of mine had a 95 celica gt and recently while driving the timing belt broke.(it has well over 200k miles). so he took it to a shop and while it was there before it was completelly put back together he needed some money so i bought it. no problem right, its getting new parts and itl b fine wen it comes out of the shop. well now the mechanic has the timing belt, water pump, all new parts, etc on and its not getting any fire. he put a new distributor in it and that didnt help anything so now im getting the car tomorrow and it doesnt run. any tips would be greatly appreciated. do u guys know of anything i could check or has any1 had a similar problem? thanks in advance

The EFI relay basically tells the fuel pump when to turn on. My ECU had no power when I pulled my EFI relay. Check the fusebox under the hood, towards the front left corner of the car you'll see two little plastic boxes. One is black and one is purple. One of them is the EFI relay and the other is power steering, though I can't remember which is which. While you're in that fusebox, look for a fuse labeled "EFI A." That is the main fuse for the ECU, and there is an EFI B in the fusebox inside the car.
