i know i sound lazy but i really cant do it myself.
1. i have no garage/space 2. i dont have the experience and knowledge. i really do wish i had the space to get in there and do it myself, i love learning and messing around with my car, but unfortunately thats not happenning. i live in a town where i can barely even find a parking spot... If theres anyone near me with the knowledge and space to help me with this swap or know of a trusted shop, it would save me from getting rid of my celica. . . and i really dont want to =( im up for any swap, not trying to spend a crazy amount, budget line is around 2500. BUT im not returning to a 7a. worst experienced celica motor ever for me... appreciate any help. =] -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

ask pressure2, I know he's done a few swaps, but I'm not sure if he will still do them or not. Worth it to ask though thanks, i saw someone mention his name before, i couldnt remember it. thanks will do ![]() Save up another 5, and you may be able to wing it with labor. plz tell me thats 500. ? if so, it will take me another month.. hope my car can still run. i have this terrible rod knock.. =[ A basic gen 2 swap is around $1200. Always prepare for the worse though. hmmm i read somewhere that it was illegal to put an older motor.. ? i was kinda hoping i can get into a v6 swap... but my budget isnt enough.. ![]() -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |
