I have searched the internet on this issue with no luck.
My 94 Celica has an oil leak. I used UV Dye in the engine to pinpoint the leak. With the black light I saw Oil leaking from around the PS pump. I looked in the PS reservoir and it was full of the UV Dye.... Huh? How is this possible? Oil is leaking into PS, from where? It is a pretty good leak and not sure if I need to replace PS pump or use Lucas PS Leak stop. Any help on this will be appreciated. ![]() |

Someone must have used dye in ps system before. I would get a turkey baster and take some out and put some new in to refresh. For the leak the oil plate under the timing cover will leak alot when it goes but it is under the black cover. After the cover is removed you can then see what is leaking. Somewhere there are pics of this on this site. Good Luck |
