can you put the 4wd system on a convertible and if so what kind of money am i looking to spend in this project?

yes you can, cost wise will be between 5000 and 10,000. it all depends on the cost of fabrication. you need to import the transmission and rear end, you need the drive shaft and the rear axles and new front axles. i assume you want to change the engine too so you can figure 4000 to import a clip right there.

I did mine for less than $2000. You can do it fairly cheap if you do the work yourself... if not well you'll probably have a hard time finding a shop to even take the project.
