Has anyone else considered mounting the cruise control actuator somewhere else? Below is what I have to work with..haha. I thought about cutting a hole in my custom airbox and mounting it sideways in there. Other than that I have that big gap area around the distributor and behind the intake piping, but I would need a shorter cable running to it from the firewall. What do you guys think?

you could mount it on the passenger side like the ST has it. just extend the wiring

Oh yeah, there is a nice little gap over there between the coolant filler neck and the power steering reservoir. Anyone have pics of the 7a setup? I would also need the cruise control cable from the 7a ST though wouldn't I?

That gap is for the ABS, but does provide some room for you.

The cruise control on a ST is located where the Power Steering Res is located. Shown below.



Would be an interesting mounting, but I'm sure feasible!
