Has anyone else considered mounting the cruise control actuator somewhere else? Below is what I have to work with..haha. I thought about cutting a hole in my custom airbox and mounting it sideways in there. Other than that I have that big gap area around the distributor and behind the intake piping, but I would need a shorter cable running to it from the firewall. What do you guys think?

I re-mounted mine. Made a custom bracket for it. You can see it here in this picture. It's above the air filter, and to the right of the
blow off valve.
