The girlfriend bought a set of drag dr38s in 17x8+47 with 225/45/17 tires and we went to mount the read rims and the rim is hitting the strut. So I just bought a set of 25mm spacers for the rear.
So the spacers should be here in a few days. What else would you guys have done? |

Yep spacers will solve the issue.
I would of also had a stern word with the girlfriend. Sure surprises are nice. But she needs to understand the offset! -------------------- |

Yep spacers will solve the issue. I would of also had a stern word with the girlfriend. Sure surprises are nice. But she needs to understand the offset! Hhaha. I knew about the rims and we were going to go with +35 offset but the company didn't have them in stock but they had the +47 and I really didn't think 12mm would make that much of a difference and me not know much about the celica cause I'm more of a Honda guy. But I'm running 25mm spacers all around on my civic. So that's why I went with them. Now I didn't get spacers for the front cause there's about a half inch gap between the rim and strut so I thought that would be OK. |
