So ive been reading into cats used with a turbo, and find people on both ends of the spectrum. Saying it can be ruined because of the high temps and pressure of a turbo engine, and messing with the turbo (could lead to turbo failing after the cat fails). And other people saying a high flow cat will do just fine.
Just wondering what everyones thought is on it, what are people using in the community? im probably going to just get a testpipe instead as long as my buddy will pass my inspection. Whats the real benefit of cutting the cat out (a tiny bit, alot?) This post has been edited by mgnt232: Apr 12, 2013 - 11:47 AM -------------------- |

I have a 3" metallic spun high flow cat in my setup, no complaints and I pass inspection. As far as the difference, couldn't tell ya.
