I just need a little reassurance before i go rip all my belts off. My alternator belt is fine, was replaced about 6 months ago with the alternator. Where do I loosen the power steering belt? and is there an idler pulley on the a/c belt? and if so where? thanks for the help

its an old 7afe. but removing the wheel does sound like the best idea. this will be tight since this side of my car is a little damaged from a deer hit recently. does the a/c belt have idler pulley?

You tension the AC pulley or that assembly by a bolt underneath the alt. Its either a 10mm or 12mm can't recall. Slightly hidden. This post has been edited by rave2n: Apr 14, 2013 - 11:20 AM |
