I am talking to TechnoToyTuning, the same ones who made the tie rod flip kit about making extended ball joints. The tie rod flip kit was meant for the MK1 MR2 but fits the 5th gen celica. If the tierod and ball joints of the 5th gen also fit the 6th gen, this would be a solution for your guys as well.
For those wonder what roll center and bump steer is, check out this article. http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_articles/id...oll-center.aspx They say if we can get 10 people interested, they can make something similar to this for much less. He expects around $140 for the ball joint and the flip kit is around $70. Note the final design will be different from this one. We currently have 6 people interested at alltrac.net so if anyone here is also interested please let me know. Or if you can verify the 5th gen parts fit the 6th gen. |

You don't want to drop the car any more than it already is. you want the control arms to be closer to level and retain the same wheel placement.
This is different than drop spindles. |

I'm not talking about lowering it more. Put all the stock parts back into the car, so the geometry is unmolested. THEN, put drop spindles on so you are as low as you want without a wacked out suspension. With dropped spindles the factory control arm, tie rods, spring and strut will function normally.
