when i'm driving like from 0- 80kmh it's fine and everything steering is still stiff. but when i'm like going pass 90km/h + the steering wheel starts to lighten up and wobble. like krazy. before i thought it was the problem of my mags due to warpage and unbalanced. so then i bought a new set of rims that were much lighter and are properlly balanced. it is a lil bet better now, but has anyone have this problem before. i would really like to fix this to enhance the handling of my celica.

not quite true - if you have a warped disk it will throw the whole rotational balance you.. think of how a gyroscope works.. if you have a weight or imbalance on one section, it will spin but 'wobble'. I had warped sisks on my SR, and anything over 40mph would create a shake through the steering wheel which got progressively worse the faster i went - when braking it was 10 times as bad.. |
