The problem with our ST205 is that the flat 4 is mounted horizontally.
Ive heard of v6 implants but is it possible to do a V8? Think about it. Its about the same length as a straight 4, being 4 and 4 cyliners parallel just much wider meaning when mounted sideways, its fuller towards the fire wall and rad. So if so I could imagine relocating the rad further beyond the slam panel and it could work. Now what V8 made by toyota that can mate up with the E145 gearbox? Bitter, you're more than likely a much more experienced and quailified welder or mechanic then I am but theres no need to show off.
I dont want to turn this into a debate but what i do know is that knowing the difference between 1, 2&3 pass, type of gas used has no relevance for MOT. But what I have got is a fully fledged workshop with 2 mechanics, both qualified welders, 2 painters and 2 workshop assistants. We work next door to a VOSA testing centre which we've put many cars through MOT from import conversions and salvage repairs all legitimate and legal. There are many Uk engineering companies which make space frame chassis which are easy to construct and can be designed from CAD consultations. Weve used a few companies for roll cage track cars and also custom engine mounted subframes for past customers. I am fully aware that the only thing ill be keeping is just the top shell of the celica and that its not worth any resale after. This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: May 26, 2013 - 3:55 PM |
