The problem with our ST205 is that the flat 4 is mounted horizontally.
Ive heard of v6 implants but is it possible to do a V8? Think about it. Its about the same length as a straight 4, being 4 and 4 cyliners parallel just much wider meaning when mounted sideways, its fuller towards the fire wall and rad. So if so I could imagine relocating the rad further beyond the slam panel and it could work. Now what V8 made by toyota that can mate up with the E145 gearbox? Thanks. Now lets get back to this topic.
All creations aspires from an idea. Im still researching and so far the problem isnt the engine but in fact the transmission. The only cars Ive found so far which has a ME4WD setup is a Ford RS200 or a Lancer Delta. Both old rare but not impossible to source in the UK. However, as its an american engine Im choosing, it would be nice if some helpful people can suggest an american car with a mid engine 4wd setup preferably 5 years and older which cane mate with a Chevy big block. |
