The problem with our ST205 is that the flat 4 is mounted horizontally.
Ive heard of v6 implants but is it possible to do a V8? Think about it. Its about the same length as a straight 4, being 4 and 4 cyliners parallel just much wider meaning when mounted sideways, its fuller towards the fire wall and rad. So if so I could imagine relocating the rad further beyond the slam panel and it could work. Now what V8 made by toyota that can mate up with the E145 gearbox? No, your biggest problem is you still think this is feasible. For what this would cost you, you could go buy a Dodge Viper or a Chevy Corvette and have more than 644 HP. Edit. I sound abit abrupt in my last reply. Point is. if I wanted to buy a fast car. Id buy a fast car. Its not about cost but more about the adventure. I have what it takes, the tools and man power to do so. Im the type of guy who want to build a Rwd Mini ute simply cos its cool. So thinking outside the box, limitations of feasibilty and cost aside. What american car has a mid engine 4wd setup? why in every post someone has to prove themselves to everyone here and fight their way through the rhetoric. for now on lets just always assume...(I know there are easier options and yes i know its probably a waste of time)... so now that, thats out of the way for life from every new post onward please just answer the **** question, instead of seeing if the guy or gal has the guts to stand up to bullies lol just felt like addressing that And oh yea KUDOS to yellowchinaman for another fine standup.... Thanks. I shouldnt have to say all that and sound like a douchebas or a show off. But cant a man ask a daring question or research without being shot down? with these guys sometimes no...but then they wonder why the site is dying off slowly and thats a shame This post has been edited by timdog1720: May 26, 2013 - 8:35 PM -------------------- Always fast and going for the look......
