Hello all, I'm very new to this site but not new to the 6th gen world. I'm going to start off by saying I'm posting this from my phone so sorry in advance for any mistakes. But I am almost 22 years old, but 6th gen celicas have been in my life since 1993 when my dad bought a gt off the lot with 3 miles on it, we did everything together on that car and it was going to be my first car at 16 but some drunk decided to hit it when it was parked with his lifted truck and drove right over it and crushed it, I searched all over for 6 months after that to find my own and found one for 600 dollars, it was a 94 5 speed st, renaissance red, sunroof, all power everything, I bought it from a family friend and worked on it day and night between school , work, and sports while I was waiting for the title so we could make it mine. I started by completely gutting it and taking every single piece out including the entire dash and carpet. I put in all new padding and dynamat, I wrapped every piece of interior in carbon fibre wrap flawlessly, put in brand new carpet cut by myself, re installed everything but the seats and headliner, I reupholstered the seats myself with black vinyl and stitched it with fire red thread. I even re did the headliner with the same jet black color of the carpet and embroidered a Toyota helica symbol with the fire red right in the middle .. ( I can't take credit for embroidering the helica , that was my grandmother, god rest her soul.) , and it was perfect in my eyes, I then decided to relocate the battery to the trunk and install an 1800 watt kicker amp, 2 12 inch kicker crs in individual bass tubes with the subs and battery nicely in the hatch and I made a custom 4 inch thick trunk molding that went under the carpet the whole way across to hide the amp which was flush with the molding! I also installed a ken wood double din navi unit which was sweet back in the day. By this time two months had went by and still no title, he said it'd be about another month , I went out to start it the next week only for the engine to blow, believe it or not 2 mice crawled into the engine throw the exhaust and when I started it just sheer destruction and carnage within the engine, we did some research online after that and spent the next 2.5 months finding a 4age 20v black top engine, completely tearing it apart , rebuilding it from top to bottom and installing it in the bay, after a lot of trial and error everything was good to go after countless hours of reading wiring diagrams and after 3 more months and making my custom exhaust straight pipe into a y dual exhaust with just one cat and 2 flow master mufflers running from 2.25 tubing , a custom cold air intake, and lots of wire hiding I tried firing her up and I was never so proud of myself after everything I did pouring my heart, soul, blood , sweat , and tears into this car only to find out 2 weeks later our " family friend" moved 9 hours away and didn't give us any contact info thus meaning I never was able to get a title, and I was furious. I cried and threw fits and was literally sick so I took my trusty Louisville slugger to every inch of the exterior regrettably and field derbied my baby until I blew her engine into pieces and kept a couple pieces that were hard to find, put them in my shed and junked her. I forced 6th gen celicas out of my mind for almost 5 years until recently when I saw a white celica with a 6gc.net sticker, it peaked my curiosity so I googled it and decided to try and sell my leftover parts but after two weeks of in depth reading I believe I have recaptured my love for the sleek bodied 6th gen beautie which is why tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon I am going to look at a 1994 st , it is black with 2000 gts wheels, hatch back, and a 5 speed with 150k miles . It has new breaks and tires , not much else has been touched to my knowledge . It's been for sale almost a year, he started off wanting 4000 , now he's down to 2500 obo so I'm going to check it out and offer him 1700 and haggle until we get to 2000 and if he still says no in going to pull out 20 100$ dollar bills and tell him to decide if I'm driving her home or not, so stay posted for an interesting story. But for now I wanted to say I'm very glad to meet all of you and I hope I can help some of you as much as you've all helped me already! Have a great night All

That's a whole lot of information, chap. That story had a lot more of a dark ending than I thought, but good luck with your future Celica.
