I know there's probably so many threads about this but I tried searching and looked through so many threads and couldn't really find an answer.
I'm going to be getting new tires soon as I bought new wheels, and I wanna know if 205/55/16 would be too big for our car? Anybody run this size? Or should I just go with 205/50/16? -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily

I got the car with similar dimension (195/65R15, same diameter as 205/55R16) when i bought it, so I guess you shouldnt have a problem using that dimension.
You need to know though, that your speedometer reading is going to be off for a few percent and that the car's handling is going to be different (acceleration, breaking, steering). At least that's what I noticed with that dimension. -------------------- |

I read somewhere that speedos are a little off to begin with anyways, and that sometimes bigger tires put it right on the dot lol. Know if this is true at all? And would the odometer be effected too?
