So anything is possible, right?
I was back home in Raleigh, NC last week for a couple of days and... Someone MIGHT have a GT4 (at least the entire body kit) and lives in my dad's neighborhood. I knocked on his door to say hi, with my celica right behind his, and he turned out to be very nice. There were no badges on the car at all (not even on the riser blocks) so I asked him what trim it was - GT4...right? He got a bit nervous and said he didn't know what kind of car it was, just that he recently bought it from a friend of his. I wanted to take pictures but didn't want to freak him out. He didn't want to pop the hood because it was raining. I've seen one other car that had the GT4 front end, but that was here in Charlotte. I'm betting the one in Raleigh IS a GT4... Think he managed to get one in (maybe the ol' VIN swap) or bought the body off of one? Next time I'm there I'll bring him a case of beer which will give me rights to open the hood or to crawl underneath that SOB!!! Because of work in Charlotte, I had to leave THAT DAY and couldn't stick around Raleigh any longer - a reason why I missed the Raleigh meet Has anyone also spotted one in the states? |

If we had a picture of the rear end, it would y be hard to tell. The fuel tank peeking out from underneath the rear bumper where a spare tire normally hides is a dead giveaway.
