So here's my Celica as she stands now:

And when I got her, nearly 6 years ago at 139,000 miles:

She's a 1994 GT. Fully stock when I bought it(wheels aside). Perfectly clean. Never been in an accident.

Now it's got whited out JDM Tails, ST Suspensions sway bars, new Konig wheels and Megan Racing coilovers.

A few weeks ago I started getting some possible signs of a broken head gasket. So, I decided to dive in and do something that I've been wanting to do for a while.
So, today I got:
.

Gaskets are on their way. I've already got a new clutch and some motor mounts. New cluster is on it's way too. Just setting to work on electrical until then!

A BEAMS is supposed to idle at 750, and the ISCV should be correcting your idle. I've never unplugged my ISCV with the car running so I couldn't telling you what happens there. How does your TPS look? I assume you cleaned the throttle body when you had the engine apart, so you shouldn't be having any issues with the butterfly valve staying open. It could very well be that your ISCV simply isn't working, but one guy on the BEAMS Owners Group recently got a code for his ISCV so presumably you'd have a code if yours was defunct. I'm working 11-7 tonight and I doubt if I'll be busy so I'll put some thought and research into this for you.
