I was looking at the how-tos and it had one about resetting the ECU. My car idles rough when it's cold out (it might just be that it idles that way all the time) so, would that fix it?

If you have a celica with obd 1 than you can simply reset the ecu by unplugging the battery both pos and ned and then holding the leads together and having someone pump the breaks, I had a fault code make the check engine light come on and i asked the toyota dealer and they told me to do this and it worked, the light hasnt come on since. It wasnt really a problem with the car, a hose just came off when I was driving, I put it back on and good as new. Hope this helps. Dan
