 3SFE and 3SGE Swap Similarities |

Hi Guys & Girls
I am kinda new to this forum, but have been using it for advice over the years. I have an issue that would be nice to get some clarification before I go ahead with my swap. Basically, I have a 99 Rav4 with a 3SFE engine. The engine is damaged so I want to replace it as soon as possible. On the other hand, I have a 95 st202 3SGE Engine. I know that the engine will fit pretty easily, however, my question is to do with the wiring. Is there any way that I can reuse the wiring loom from the Rav4 on the 3sge engine as they are pretty similar. I know that I would need to use the 3sge ecu Thanks for any help on this |

i dont know enough about the 3S-FE and 3S-GE but i can tell you this, there is nothing wrong with swapping a 3MZ into a car that originally had a 1MZ. just use the intake manifold from the 1MZ and use all 1MZ electronics.
another theory i have is putting a 3MZ into a truck that came with a 5VZ. Just use the 5VZ manifolds and electronics. so it might be possible to just swap in the 3S-GE and use all the supporting equipment from the 3S-FE -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
