Need to replace the muffler tip on my 95 Celica GT. I want to go a little longer than the stock one that is on there, and maybe a smaller outlet to add a little bit of boost to the hp. I know it won't be hardly any, but does anyone know where to pick one up that has less than a 3" outlet? If this is a ridiculous question feel free to slap the face on the screen.

I think what he is saying is that there will be no negative impact, unless you went smaller (in which case you would be causing a restriction - and restrictions = less power). In reality though, even if you did the full cat back exhaust system with new piping and a new muffler you would still have an almost negligible power gain. As Box said; tip is just for looks. -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |
