I'm kinda piggy-backing off my current project topic , but I wanted to ask if anyone has done this before I potentially destroy my USDM lights if this mod doesn't work.

My USDM lowbeam housing only has one point of entry for the 9006 bulb, and I need the DOT stamped lens for my safety inspection.
My ST205 has two bulbs inside the low beam housing, the 9006, as well as an H1 bulb (I think?).

I don't want to make my smaller bulb obsolete by just replacing the housing directly and only having the one 9006 bulb, so I'm thinking of keeping the back section of my JDM low beam housing, and transplanting the lens from my USDM onto it so that it has the DOT stamp for my inspection, and have both my 9006 bulb and H1 bulb.

Will the fitment be a problem?

^^^ What Brian said - your extra bulb is just for 'parking' or 'accent' lights. We get them too, hehe tongue.gif

Did the UDSM ones come with a dual filament bulb, or not include any since you have always-on side markers?

The USDM don't include that space because we have always-on side markers.
