Ok so last night my car decided to take a dump on me, everything was running smoothly then when I came to a light and tried to accelerate my car started sputtering and went very slow no matter how much gas i tried giving it, after about 20 feet it just died. She still cranks over and it sounds like it sputters but doesnt fire up. I tried using my scanner to see if any codes came up but nothing, so my initial deduction is probably the fuel pump but i'm not ruling out the ignition system, any ideas what would cause it to do that before dying completely?

It's a GT and after some test i'm positive its a fuel issue, I cranked the engine with the spark plug wires off and some spare plugs and they fired, then i removed the plugs on the car and they weren't fouled or wet from fuel, plus I could smell no fuel coming from the spark plug tube which after cranking should have had some fuel if the system was working shouldn't it?
