Yes.

From what I recall, the 5gens came with an s53 transmission versus the s54 that the 6gen has. The difference is that the s53 has taller gearing.

Why don't you just use your 90 trans? It will bolt up to another 2.2 just fine.

My third gear grinds and there is 387,000 KM on it so it's cheaper and better to get a whole transmission then it is to replace the syncros. Thanks by the way
