So the entire belt is staying in place except for the cam wheel. Passenger side motor mount is taken out and a jack is holding it up just like in the sticky guide. No covers are put on yet its just open belt waiting to be put back together. crank pulley on as well for the one guide ring. Have to wait til tomorrow night to do more work any suggestions as to why its sliding off the cam? Its pretty damn tight. Still cranking and no start. My friend is coming back tomorrow night with a compression gauge. And we are gonna take it all apart again and make sure we are at TDC for sure.

Im getting a tad rough idle misfiring but when I drive it seems fine. Just acceleration feels a little slower than what i remember. But I have also been babying it since in my head i'm paranoid of breaking something I'll get over it soon haha
Edit: Czwalga I legit love you lmao! Did what you said car sounded perfect the idle cleared up. Now I wont be ashamed rolling into my mechanic classes barely able to hold an solid idle This post has been edited by SiriusVirus: Aug 27, 2013 - 5:30 PM |
