I just saw this on the TOM'S racing page and never heard of this engine ever existing.

how feasible is it to really build a performance hybrid version of the 5sfe? just curious as to what the reality of it being built is.

how feasible is it to really build a performance hybrid version of the 5sfe? just curious as to what the reality of it being built is. Very feasible. Nobody has done it because it's an all-custom build. 5S-FE block and crank, 3SGTE head, hybrid pistons, rods...etc. The power will really be at 11.5:1 compression, high lift cams (10mm lift minimum) with decent duration, etc... -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
