Hi all, while I was driving I notice that im getting a sort of knocking sound under hard acceleration and as i cruised heard what appeared to be that "wooo wooo" sound. I JUST replaced my wheel bearings with a factory toyota wheel bearing kit.
My question is: what would cause a new wheel bearing to go bad? Im 99% certain I put it back correctly and that the person that pressed it in was reputable. -------------------- |

Lowering springs does in fact affect wheel bearing. When car is lowered... It changes the camber. Depending how much you lower your car affects the amount of camber differences. With that being said... The more negative/positive camber you have... The more stress you are putting on the wheel bearing.
A bad hub will also cause wheel bearing failures as well. |
