Hey gang,

So my Samco Air induction hose had finally arrived in NYC, and was shipped out from NYC earlier this week to me. Now, it's time for me to start doing some homework.

Just a recap, I'm quite sure the stock air intake hose was fine when I bought the car, but I noticed that the previous owner didn't have the mushroom air filter properly fitted to the air intake. I took matters into my own hand, as I was 11hrs away from the seller, and bought some plumbing supplies to properly attach the filter to the air intake hose so that there would be no gap between the two. I believe this process cracked the hose, at the point right before the hose connects to the turbo, as seen below:

Now, with my mechanical skills (lack thereof), can someone please direct me in the proper direction to replace this myself? My front end is currently on jack stands, as I was fixing up my headlights, and still need to install a DRL relay (waiting for it in the mail).

From what I can see, I'll have to remove the radiator hose immediate above the air intake hose so that I can unlatch it from the turbo. Will this require me to drain my radiator completely just for the hose?

Also, I've never really handled the clamps used on the hose that are of the pinching variety (immediate left of the yellow circle I drew). Which tool do I need to remove the clamps?

Thanks for the help in advance, I'm sure there'll be more questions to come when I actually get to doing this project.
