I have recently bought a jalopy of a celica. I have a 93 rx7 but i needed a daily driver and something that could fit more than 2 people. I found a really cheap celica for $900 but it needs alot of tlc. Originally i was only going to keep it for a year or so until i found a better car, but i've grown to love my little bucket. In search of a new bumber, the one i had was held on by zip ties, i found a gt4 bumper w/lip and hood for $450 local pick up and same color! I have a couple questions regarding the coupe. It seems no one but me has a 6th gen with a trunk that isn't a convertible. I've been looking into the trd spoilers and rear side skirts and i wanted to to know if they would fit the trunk? also would the riser blocks fit the same?

Have you guys ever compared the rear bumpers of the coupe/vert vs the liftback?
I'm trying to buy a rear bumper reinforcement for my 95 gt coupe. I've found some for about $60 shipped on eBay, and the description says it's for a coupe/convertible, but the p/n is 52023-20280. From my research, 20280 is for the liftback and 20290 is for the coupe. Most of the aftermarket websites I've found list the 20280 as the correct fitment for the coupe, but Toyota parts diagrams list 20290 as correct for the coupe. Are they the same with different part numbers?! Or maybe is the difference so slight that they can be interchanged?! This is confusing! |
