SOLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Hey guys, I'm sure many of you saw my thread in the other section about this car being hit. This post is just meant to be a feeler as I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this. It has 170k miles on it but drives great. The only thing that I know is wrong with it is the rear damage (apparently there is a bit of structural damage under the bumper but it must not be too bad since the insurance company didn't issue me a salvage title for it) and a small oil leak somewhere. The leak isn't bad, as I only really need to check the oil level every couple months to top it off. There are also a few spots on the hood where the paint is faded and a couple light dings on the side which are only visible from certain angles. The alternator was replaced in August with an aftermarket one with 160 amps current vs the oem which has only 70 amps if I'm not mistaken. A few weeks after that I changed the spark plugs to NGK iridiums and swapped the distributor cap/rotor with OEM parts. All oil changes have been done in a timely fashion and the belts have been checked too. The water pump/thermostat and CV joints were swapped two summers ago (not by me, but by a local mechanic so I should have some paperwork for that). It could use new tires and break pads but it's not imperative yet. I'll also include the aftermarket head unit and speakers I've installed (four Alpine components in the front and two Infinity Kappas in the back) as well as the wiring intact for an amp and subwoofer. I'm looking to get $1100 obo and I want to get rid of it ASAP as I have an E46 I'm picking up in a couple days. Located in southern NJ 10 minutes from Philly, 90 minutes from NYC, less than 2 hours from Baltimore. Thoughts? See below for pics, mostly of the rear damage. I can add more photos of the car if there's interest. This post has been edited by marblesmike: Oct 21, 2013 - 9:02 AM |

If you were nearby I'd buy it and fix it with my porta-power.
