Hey guys,
Just looking ahead towards my build I wanted to get some lighter wheels for the track to mount some R compound rubber on. I came across this jem and am trying to keep 17" rims for track use: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseU...mp;autoModClar= They are the absolute lightest wheel tirerack carries, even lighter than O.Z.'s. In 17" for a wheel to be 15.5 pounds is amazing as far as I'm concerned. For them to run $199 each is a freakin' cherry on top. Anyone have any thoughts on these? Other options to take a look at perhaps? I'm sure there are lighter wheels out there but not for under $1k a piece. |

you can get 16" wheels with the same width you be able to get with the 17"s though.
you'd be saving a bit of unnecessary weight -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |
