Hello friendly 6GC Community and other guest of this site!
Bit of background info =) I've recently got my license (so im young) and as my first car I got a Celica SX The car was bought new from the dealer and has been in our family for the whole time. At least I can say that I trust the previous owners of the car Thecar has been serviced regularly and has hit 330,000kms or so... (quite a few in my opinion). The car drives fine and has no problems what so ever. Only some faded paint and a few scratches and dents here and there. I have done (IMO) quite a bit of work on it. And i will post it all in this one go, and continue along. My car when I first got it So yeah it needs A LOT of work to it in my opinion... Of course im not going for those radical and overdone bodykits, like your Vielside kits and all that jizz jazz. I reckon those look over the top and sorta make you say, "0.0 GAY." So me being simple as possible decided to remove the rear spoiler and to me it just adds more aggression to the car. Bit of DIY HOME work and the spoiler was off and the holes were bog filled. I didnt paint the car until about 3 months down the road. After a few months of driving this fun car I made a decision to respray it. Now i know I'm going to get hated on and everyone will say "What the hell did you do this for" and blah blah blah. I resprayed it in the original colour. Greeny torquise. I like that colour. But i resprayed it outside... in the open. Hate me all you want. Yes it was a stupid mistake and i will never do it again. I did have a bit of dust and all in the clear coat. But its not perfect. But compared to the old faded paint i really happy. It cost me only $350! During painting/Sunburnt/After Painting So SHINY! 0.0 Sooo now im rolling around in my new HOME JOB painted celica.. . .. ... ..... ....... ......... Don't you ever hop in your car and say. I need to do something. Lets spice it up. And then you go do it and everything goes soo well until a big little complication throws everything off? LIKE THIS??!?!?! Yes. I decided to change my steering wheel. I thought a steering comes off by removing the centre nut, and off you go. Well my car had for some reason a grub screw underneath the steering column holding it in. And being me, I grinded off the wheel and realised what a mess i have caused. But all was good and a new steering wheel was put on. I also followed the yellowness of the new wheel and painted my dash to follow... Looks ok IMO? I shall be rolling like this for a while! Thanks for reading and I shall continue on updating! This post has been edited by DUHCHINKYAZN: Mar 2, 2014 - 11:23 AM -------------------- It's my car, I do what I want... Don't like it?
