Be careful you don't get scammed into an iron block while in Africa.

This article suggests that the 5sfe and 2azfe blocks are so similar, that they can be interchanged.

For those that are concerned about their cars balance or overall weight, this could be useful. I would be interested in building an all-alloy 5sfe. And If that is possible then a lightweight 3sge (stroker) may be possible as well.

It'd be interesting to see for sure. Far as I understood, the AZ series has a different bellhousing bolt pattern, but that can be rectified easily.We'll find out, I have a random blown tC trans in my garage that will get junked other than the bell. I want to see if it bolts to the E153 and such.
