So I picked up some TRD rear splitters (copies im pretty sure not the real things) and repainted them to Super White but like alot of the rear splitters they dont seem to fit very well. It seems its either have it close to the body with the end sticking out or the end in line with the top sitting about 1cm away from the rear bumper. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to better mount these to get rid of this gap. I have thought about widening the holes they screw on with abit so to angle them abit better because I have tried body tape but it just pops off becuase as it is currently it takes too much pressure to push them up flush with the car.
Ill upload photos of exactly how they sit one the sun comes back up ![]() -------------------- 1997 White ST202

You could treat them with sand paper from inside to smooth edges, then glue it with windshield glue to Your car all the way on top. If You press it in several points maybe it will fit better. Only prob will be when You would want to remove this bumper.
But that all depends on material hardness of this splitters. If its to hard it wont give up. This post has been edited by Makabra: Nov 9, 2013 - 3:21 AM |
