Be careful you don't get scammed into an iron block while in Africa.
This article suggests that the 5sfe and 2azfe blocks are so similar, that they can be interchanged. QUOTE Chances are that half your engine is actually made of cast iron engine block (5S-FE) extracted from older models(less than 2001). It recently came to my notice that these engines are rebuilt locally and sold to unsuspecting customers as full aluminium engines. For those that are concerned about their cars balance or overall weight, this could be useful. I would be interested in building an all-alloy 5sfe. And If that is possible then a lightweight 3sge (stroker) may be possible as well. |

I think thats the 2.0 forged crank engine i wanted to try and see if its crank could be used in a 3s as a lightweight option
