 car wont start, immobiliser?? |

ive changed the cluch on my 93 clecica gt, during this ive removed the battery obviously, now ive put everthing back as was, and the hazards are flashing and there is dash lights when turning key but makes no attempt to start. any ideas?

93 doesn't have immobilizer. Sounds like you have an alarm. You have to deactivate it.

If he has an alarm that prevents the car from starting, that is an Immobilizer... If it was just an alarm then it would just set it off, but still allow the car to run... Also I am not too sure, as I have never done it, but if you simply cut it out, I do not think that it would disengage... Could be wrong though...
