So I finished swapping my engine yesterday and the clutch doesnt work. I bled the slave cylinder but it appears to be functioning correctly. I can see the fork and throwout bearing pushing down the clutch fingers so I dont know what could be wrong.

Could I have installed the clutch disc backwards? I am about to pull the transmission to check the clutch unless I can find a stick of dynamite first.

Pulled the transmission, flipped the clutch disc and reinstalled in under 5 hours. Now the clutch magically works.

It looks like the taller side was facing towards the flywheel and maybe catching the flywheel bolts.
