Well I kind of lost my job with the Warehouse making good money, I didn't lose it because I did something bad or wrong, I lost it because of miscommunication in management, and I still think its ridiculous what happened - but oh well. Its a long story. Anyways, there's hardly any jobs, if it all, around here that make the money or even close to the money that I made at the Warehouse. So i'm thinking about sucking it up and joining the Air Force. I really don't want to leave behind my social life, my celica and my family, but i'm not going to get anywhere right now seeing i've only got a few classes of College work completed. I don't know whether I should take the opportunity to join the Air Force and sell the Celica, or .. ?? I'm just kind of lost right now. If any of you have Air Force experience or have been in this situtation, please give me some suggestions...

Aight, well after today things seem to be back on track.

I've joined the Air Force today, but I still have some tests I have to take and whatnot, and probably won't ship out for another 4-6 months. In the meantime, i'm trying to get a job with a Delivery and Installation Company which is actually making MORE money than the warehouse job, so i'm hoping I get this job. In the Air Force, i'm allowed to take my car with me, and am allowed to work on it in the Auto-Garage's for 2$/hr and there are people there that "work" there that will help me as well. I'm allowed to do any modifications I want in there as far as you can imagine. I will have my own room on base after 6 weeks of Basic Training, then I begin my Educational Training where I will learn everything - typically like school for 12 weeks. Then I go to the base (whether I stay or ship somewhere else) and I start to work for the Air Force. As I work for the Air Force, its like hands-on Education, accumulating College Credits as I work and learn, then I can get my Bachelor's Degree and possibly become a Pilot or start to Train people in the Field I work in (which will be Computer Programming). I can put all the money I want towards my car or as little, its up to me.

When they told me this, it made my decision to go. Since i'll be able to have alot more money than any jobs can possibly give me, plus all living conditions are free. So this will be good, and I can keep the Celica Project underway, and possibly have it done alot earlier than possible. I have every weekend off and alot of Holiday's and I get a full month off a year. So it seems great, i'm really siked to go now. The deciding factor was if I was going to have to sell the Celica or not, but now that I can keep working on it, i'm doing it... but this isn't for a few months.
