Aight, well after today things seem to be back on track.
I've joined the Air Force today, but I still have some tests I have to take and whatnot, and probably won't ship out for another 4-6 months. In the meantime, i'm trying to get a job with a Delivery and Installation Company which is actually making MORE money than the warehouse job, so i'm hoping I get this job. In the Air Force, i'm allowed to take my car with me, and am allowed to work on it in the Auto-Garage's for 2$/hr and there are people there that "work" there that will help me as well. I'm allowed to do any modifications I want in there as far as you can imagine. I will have my own room on base after 6 weeks of Basic Training, then I begin my Educational Training where I will learn everything - typically like school for 12 weeks. Then I go to the base (whether I stay or ship somewhere else) and I start to work for the Air Force. As I work for the Air Force, its like hands-on Education, accumulating College Credits as I work and learn, then I can get my Bachelor's Degree and possibly become a Pilot or start to Train people in the Field I work in (which will be Computer Programming). I can put all the money I want towards my car or as little, its up to me.
When they told me this, it made my decision to go. Since i'll be able to have alot more money than any jobs can possibly give me, plus all living conditions are free. So this will be good, and I can keep the Celica Project underway, and possibly have it done alot earlier than possible. I have every weekend off and alot of Holiday's and I get a full month off a year. So it seems great, i'm really siked to go now. The deciding factor was if I was going to have to sell the Celica or not, but now that I can keep working on it, i'm doing it... but this isn't for a few months.
