Ok so i read that buying a front clip is the way to go with the 3SGTE but i can't find ( i gather this is about to be a stupid question but eh. ) anything which says which style of clip. Now i assume it would be a ST205 clip that i need to buy but in Australia its becoming a bit of a unicorn to find but theres alot of ST185 GT4's for sale as a whole car, could i buy a car and make my own front clip or something alot more possible and less imagination combined with no real engine knowledge ?

the idea of a 3sgte swap is nice, you have to look up some clips in ebay from hong kong, if you cannot find one there.
The clip idea, comes from the vendor, already cutting the car for you, to get exactly what you want/need. I dont see the purpose, of buying the car so you can cut it into a clip, so then u can swap. you can avoid the clip part, and just yank the engine out... the wiring of a second gen 3sgte is hard, not easy compared to a 3rd gen. but if you are willing to compromise, why not source a 4th gen from a caldina clips, unsure if available in your country. but they are newer engines... also you can get a 1mz swap, which is a v6, several around here too... ebay is your friend... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

Ill edit my previous post as i just came across this website that claims to be able to import the st205 half cut ( although they don't have stock atm )
