Hello,
My celica didn't pass the yearly test because of a worn ball joint cover and the light adjustment. I'm wondering though how to replace the ball joint? Can't find a write up about it unfortunately so i don't know how much work is involved with it. Is it also possible to just change the boot for an aftermarket one? Thanks! -------------------- |

if you know your axles are good then yes, you can probably remove the ball-joint without taking the whole axle out.
maybe just turn the wheel to the side so you can get to it, remove the top nut and pin, then stick that fork where the boot is and smack it apart. then take the bottom bolts loose. ![]() -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.
