Hey, I have a 96 celica st 1.8l have had it for about maybe 2.5 years now, my car wen you disconnect battery wen u goto reconnect it the alarm goes off and to turn it off u have quickly run into car and put key in ignition.. wen I bought the car I was never given a remote nor told car was equipped with an alarm. The anti theft light isnt in my car either... but I decided go digging last night after connecting battery on again and it going off as usual and I found the shock sensor and all but no main box I think I have located it but no sure since its under the dash, i found the shocker device and where control shock level but it has plug which looks like plugs into a plastic black box ziptied to black vent...
we have a 94 celica gt as well which has alarm too but that was has factory remote and has the light as well.. and his control box is under the driver seat.. I will post pics of wat I found... My question is wat do I do I want to get a clicker for it I have an old keyfob clicker from an old 03 sienna that I found in junkuard but every programming step I try I cant even get car going into programming mode... Maybe im not finding correct link for it.. does anyone know correct sequence to program a remote.. and is it possible remote I have could work? And also even if no clicker is there away get it alarm to automatically turn on even without clicker and just use the key disarm it.. I will add pics as soon as I get on laptop.. |
