I didnt want to create a new thread since its a silly question, so i'll just ask here. No offense TS.
Whats a good rpm to cruise at with the 3sgte? I mean with the least amount of stress on the engine. Below 2k its like sitting in an earthquake.

I'm still learning to drive manual after not driving for 10yrs. You are correct that anything under 2k RPM shudders, especially when you're trying to increase your speed. If I'm in sit & go traffic, I'm usually finding myself in 2nd or 3rd gear (dependent on flow), but if I'm driving home late at night and there's no traffic, I'll be in 4th as I'm going 60~70kmh without having to slow down much.
