Ok, I will be doing a 3sgte swap on my Celica this year. I have a 1994 ST AT200. The car will be getting a gt4 front end, 3sgte engine, and AWD conversion. Which is why I am here. I wanted to know what it takes to swap the rear end to make my car all wheel drive. I have searched and searched and only came across bits and pieces of information. Can anyone help?

Honestly, to do the conversion doesn't cost a whole lot of money.
The materials cost is less than $75 to make the brackets and all. It just requires a welder or access to a welder (easily rentable for under $200) and enough welding experience to make safe and solid welds. Malek's swap used DOM Tubing which requires a bender making it more difficult than using box tube which you would just cut. (But also add in the AWD components) This post has been edited by playr158: Jan 28, 2014 - 11:01 AM |
