Ok, I will be doing a 3sgte swap on my Celica this year. I have a 1994 ST AT200. The car will be getting a gt4 front end, 3sgte engine, and AWD conversion. Which is why I am here. I wanted to know what it takes to swap the rear end to make my car all wheel drive. I have searched and searched and only came across bits and pieces of information. Can anyone help?

you will NEVER get a 3S-GTE in a 6th gen to pass smog or BAR. it didnt come in a 6th gen in the states and All-Trac engines are older than the car so it is not legal.

Can't he use a 94 or 95 mr2 turbo cal 3sgte? I thought that would be legal. Even if not strictly legal it would likely go thru the average smog inspection just fine.
