just took my Distro cover off, as my ST has a bit of a judder when accelerating at lower revs and I;ve started to investigate...

Here's the rotor arm:




looks like a fair bit of corrosion. questions:

1. could this be the issue?

2. it needs replacing, right?

Ya, mine runs SO much better with new plugs/wire/cap/rotor. You really notice the difference once you spin it up to 4-5k
And the people who told me to be sure and use ngk or Denso plugs were so right, even with copper plugs ngk is superior quality and what is recommended by Toyota.
I ordered it all on rockauto.com and got a super deal on everything

I've got some leads bookmarked, these: Bosch lifetime wires

and these: NGK 8128

But, tell you what, I'm glad you mentioned checking the points in the Distro Cap:



How rough do those posts look???!

So one of them is going on order as well...

Looking forward to smooth ignition, Plugs ordered too, NGK Iridium.
