Since today, every time I brake firmly there is a single 'click' that comes from the drivers side wheels..

It doesn't click if I do a slow or gentle brake, only when it's a bit more firm.. I've tried in both forward and reverse and it does it..

Would anyone know what It could be?

Brake pads moving or ball joint?

Thanks

I went on a 500km road trip 2 days ago, but no noises during then..

Only started today in the morning when I got in the car, (now its midnight)
I jacked up the car and wiggled the wheel around to see if its the ball joint but there was no noises from moving it around..

I couldn't take the wheel off because my tire iron has gone missing, but after just wiggling the wheel around and driving around, now I notice it only happens about 1/5 times I brake and when it does its quiter than before..

Maybe its just dust, because the car is very dirty
