just took my Distro cover off, as my ST has a bit of a judder when accelerating at lower revs and I;ve started to investigate...

Here's the rotor arm:




looks like a fair bit of corrosion. questions:

1. could this be the issue?

2. it needs replacing, right?

New Distro fitted today, matched Rotor arm up to existing rotor as suggested by Bitter, and

Boom! no judder at junctions, power delivery smooth as hell, feels like a big change in response. I know 75% of perceived improvement is psychological, but good grief, it's definitely made a difference.

Just waiting for NGKs and Plug leads to finally get here, then Cold Air intake next...
