Hello everyone,

Long time celica owner from Vegas, finally have the funds to restore it. I will be around these parts quite often from now on, however, one thing that brought me here today is this:

The heavy-duty molding that goes around the windows on each side of the car is starting to expand, thus causing it to pop out of its socket.

I've just started restoring a car that we've had in the family since 1995 and this is one of the things that is really bugging me because I need to figure out how to fix this before I paint it again.

Any suggestions on the name of this part or how to go about fixing it would be greatly appreciated.

It's supposed to be like that. Nothing is wrong with your trim at all.

Damn, not the answer I wanted but good to know. They have been bothering me like 7 years, car was garaged for so long I thought that's what did it.
